Parking during Sunday services
Parking on the church site - There is limited parking available. This is directly behind the church (off Willis St). Priority is given to those with mobility issues so if you’re able to park further away please do.
Underground parking - Available during services, with priority given to people with mobility difficulties and those with small children. The garage is open 30 minutes before the service and closed 30 minutes after the service has finished. If the garage is closed, you’ll need to find someone with a garage security swipe card (anyone with a name tag should be able to help). The Minister’s and Music Director’s marked parking spaces are reserved for their use at all times.
Parking nearby - There is plenty of on-street parking and parking lots within walking distance of St John’s - please see the map below. As of March 2023, the Wilson car park at 192 Willis St costs $3 per hour, up to a maximum of $9 on Sundays.
Parking during the week
To maximise needed income for our mission, St John’s rents out the majority of on-site carparks during the week (Monday to Friday, from midnight to 6 pm).
Parking on the church site - Two spaces are allocated for when members of the congregation are visiting someone at St John’s. These are the two mobility parking spaces marked with yellow paint.
One is off Dixon Street, in front of Spinks Cottage (space #30)
The other is off Willis Street on the back corner of the Church (space #23)
Please contact the Church Office to find out about parking availability before you arrive. On arrival, go to the office and they will issue you with a parking permit to display on your dashboard. Please do not park and leave without getting the parking permit first or your car may be towed.

Car parks for lease
We have a number of car parks available for lease. Cost is $275 per month for an outdoor park and $300 per month for a park in our underground garage. (GST inclusive) These are available from midnight to 6 pm Monday to Friday. Please contact the church office for the full terms and conditions if you’d like to lease a park.
