Weekly Bulletin: Staying connected as a church - 11 June 2023

Kia ora St John’s whānau,

God’s grace comes to us in the call of Jesus and, this Sunday, we will celebrate this reality with the meal of Quarterly Communion.

Jesus saw a man called Matthew sitting at the tax booth; and he said to him, ‘Follow me.’ And he got up and followed him.

Peer groups will be happening on Sunday, starting in the Centre at 10:00am, and young people and leaders will then join in for Communion in the second part of the service.

If you want to read the Bible reading before Sunday, it is Matthew 9: 9-13

OUR NEIGHBOURS

As well as general information about St John’s in the City – the ministries and groups we have – we are inviting our neighbours to the Fun Fete and Food Stall events next weekend (see above). As always, we have the opportunity to make newcomers feel welcome in our Church community.

REMINDER ABOUT PARKING

We rent out the majority of on-site car parks during the week, Monday to Friday, to 6pm.
There are 2 spaces allocated for when members of St John’s come to visit someone at St John’s during the week – these are the two mobility parking spaces marked with yellow paint (spaces #23 and #30).
Anyone wanting to use these parks when visiting St John’s during the week are asked to please phone the St John’s Office: 385 1546.
