Becoming a Member of St John’s in the City

First things first: St John’s in the City is place where we all belong because of the love given freely to us in Jesus Christ.

Membership is our formal way of recognising that we belong to the worldwide Church of Jesus Christ , through the local congregation.

The invitation to become a member is similar to becoming a member of a family; we celebrate our mutual belonging, accepting each other’s strengths and weaknesses, and committing to support each other as we all seek to be faithful disciples of Christ and share his love with others.

If you are not already a member of St John’s in the City, you are invited to consider this and, if you would like, make an application to the St John’s Session, through the St John’s Office.

If you would like to find out more about becoming a member of St John’s in the City, talk to an elder, or minister through the St John’s Office.  Application forms are available from the St John’s Office.
