Nation Leadership Institute - ODI promo
The
Every Nation Leadership Institute (ENLI) is running a Worldviews
seminar on Saturday the 11th of February from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The
seminar will consist of six sessions with a small break in between
each one and a one hour lunch break. The seminar will be held upstairs
at the Hutt City Church , 22 Marsden St , Lower Hutt , and has a
$30 entry fee.
The
Worldviews module of ENLI has been extremely popular with our
students
and helps Christians to recognise and engage with the variety of
worldviews that they will encounter as they take the gospel out
into their workplaces, schools and communities. The worldviews seminar
focuses upon topics such as: Evolution, Humanism, Nihilism, Existentialism,
New Age, contemporary Culture, and the Biblical Worldview, presenting
l ogical arguments for the existence of God, and rounding up by
asking what the world would look like if Jesus Had Never Been Born.

PARKING
Parking
on church grounds
Parking
on church grounds during the week (particularly during office hours)
is monitored closely so that our very limited number of car parks
are appropriately used. Please note the following:
Short term parking by parish members for up to two hours during
the week is fine. Please advise someone in the church office
that you are parked on the grounds . You may also want to ask
for a yellow St John’s sticker for your windscreen if you do not
have one – they are available from the office.
If you wish to park for longer (i.e. for more than two hours) then
you need to ask the office for a parking permit.
Parking permits for a specific day and time are also available from
the office for Conference Centre users and people visiting St John’s
staff for a meeting.
Conference Centre users will be given information on parking when
they initially hire a room.
Any vehicles parked on the grounds that do not have either a parking
permit or a St John’s yellow sticker risk being towed by Harbour
City Towing.
If you have any questions, please contact the church office on 385-1546
Carparking
on Sundays
Finding
a car park is always a challenge in Wellington.
In
addition to general parking in the surrounding streets, car parks
are also available outside the DB offices at 119-125 Ghuznee Street
and in the Wilson Car Parking Building at 192-194 Willis Street
.
There
are 12 parks on the side of the DB offices (facing the motorway),
and a further five at the rear of the building. These are
only available from 10:00am to 12:00pm on Sundays, and please make
sure that you leave a note in your window indicating that you are
from St John’s We are very grateful to DB for making these parks
available tous. The Wilson Car Parking uilding is also open on Sundays,
and you can park here for up to six hours and pay only $3.00.
And
if all else fails, you can always walk or catch the bus or the train!
