St John's in the City has a keen interest in tertiary students. We seek to provide opportunities for you to integrate your academic learning and personal development with spiritual growth.  We work, where possible, in conjunction with other churches, tertiary chaplains and halls of residence.  We also have representatives on Boards of both Victoria House and Everton Hall.

We offer a variety of worship events as well as our traditional morning service, including alternative forms of worship, periodic cafe-style gatherings, contemplative services and full on, multimedia interactive services.  If you want to find out what is on each week, just click here.

St John's is within easy walking distance of both Massey and Victoria Universities, being located on the corner of Willis and Dixon Streets.

St John's is also providing support to a Readership in Theology at Victoria University as a major outreach initiative.
