Wine and Theology
gathers the first Friday of every month in the St John’s
Office lounge, starting at 7:30 pm We meet for an informal wine-tasting
and then discussion of some current topic of theological or cultural
interest, usually finishing by about 9:00pm. All are welcome. If

Karori Home Group:
We meet on Mondays, except
holiday weekends, usually at 11 Lewer St, Karori. A number of
us meet for tea at about 7pm. This is usually Chinese or similar
for $6. If you prefer, the study part of the evening starts about
7.30 pm and we aim to finish the study by 9 pm. The evening ends
with a light supper.
The group is a mixture of ages from young
workers to retired people. We have had university students too.
We try to vary what we do as well. The studies are usually
from a series such as Intervarsity but we also do book review studies
and occasionally, videos. Visiting speakers get added to this
mix.
We also like our fellowship times, so we meet for special events –
midwinter dinners, Guy Fawkes parties and summer barbeques are regular
social occasions.
Email Karori
home group or call Margaret or David on 9344422 for details.
Everyone is welcome, from students to retired people.
