St John's membership and giving statistics from the 1940s to 2008,
prepared by Margaret Galt
The
Messenger is produced in March, June, September and December,
a week prior to Communion. If you have moved out of Wellington
but would still like to receive this publication, please let us
know. The publication is also available in the Church foyer to
members.

September each year. A hard copy of the latest report may be requested

Occasional Papers
From time to time, St John's
produces papers of wider interest which will be included here.
We have promoted a lectureship in Christian Theology at Victoria
University of Wellington, currently held by Dr Chris Marshall.

Church Finances
A number of financial
documents of interest are included here, particularly relating to
St John's Trust Funds which arose from the sale of development rights
for the St John's Church site in 1987. St John's assumed obligations
to maintain the Church as an historic site as part of these arrangements.

History of St
John's
A
book about the history of St John's, "Church Standing Tall",
was published for our 150th anniversary in 2003, authored by Scott
Thompson. It is a very professional history, with good illustrations.
