St
John's in the City Annual Report: This is produced each
year in time for the Annual General Meeting of St John's in the
City, which is generally held in September of each year. A copy
may be requested from the Church Office. These
annual reports have by far the most comprehensive information on
this site about all we've done over the last year.
Occasional Papers From time to time, St John's produces papers of wider interest which will be included here. We have promoted a lectureship in Christian Theology at Victoria University of Wellington, currently held by Dr Chris Marshall. A recent paper by Chris Marshall appears here on Restorative Justice and Punishment. A report on progress of the lectureship appears here. Graham Redding has written a paper on the frequency of celebration of Communion. History of St John's A book about the history of St John's, "Church Standing Tall", was published for our 150th anniversary in 2003, authored by Scott Thompson.
